Mending the Divide: Lessons from <scp>LGBTQ</scp> + Movements for Latin American Studies

چکیده
Latin American has made remarkable progress in the last twenty years regarding LGBTQ+ rights. More recently, LGBTQ-related issues have had major impacts on national and regional politics. However, most of literature about social movements still largely ignores movements. This article argues that including research is essential to further our understanding politics region more broadly, as well address enduring lack academic engagement with gender sexuality political topics.
